What is AIME?
AIME was created by clinicians in various regulated healthcare professions passionate about giving back to the Chinese community. AIME stands for Assisting In Medical Expectations and as our name implies, we empower people with medical knowledge so they can take charge of reaching their health goals and expectations, enabled by our interdisciplinary team.
AIME focuses on primary health promotion in the Chinese community in Canada using Cantonese or Mandarin. We provide:
-
Free virtual or in-person health seminars in collaboration with our community partners across Canada.
-
Free helpful medical resources on various social media platforms to support Chinese communities of all age groups.
-
Unique continuing education seminars to encourage clinicians from different healthcare professions to discuss complex disease management.
AIME co-founder Dr. Tina Lam was awarded the "Community Service Recognition Award" by the Ontario Dental Association in 2022.
